Carly Fiorina

Chair

 

 

Carly Fiorina is Chair of the Technology Policy Institute Board of Directors.  She is a best-selling author, business commentator, strategic advisor and philanthropist.  As Chairman and CEO of Carly Fiorina Enterprises, she champions innovation, small business, free trade, capital markets transparency and individual empowerment.

Carly was the first and, to date, only woman to lead a Fortune 20 company, serving as the Chairman and CEO of HP from 1999 to 2005.  Prior to joining Hewlett-Packard, she rose through the ranks at AT&T and Lucent Technologies over a twenty-year span.

Carly advises government and non-profit organizations, including the Initiative for Global Development, and the Defense Business Board.  In addition, she chairs the One Woman Initiative, an international foundation focused on women’s empowerment.  She previously served on the boards of Cisco Systems, Kellogg Company, Cyber Trust and Merck & Company.
 
In her memoir Tough Choices, a New York Times and international bestseller, Carly talks about her life and her views on leadership, technology and workplace diversity.
