Robert T. Blau
Robert Blau is senior fellow at the Technology Policy Institute. Previously, he was vice president, public policy development for the BellSouth Corporation, where he was responsible for representing BellSouth's positions and interests before key federal officials and other groups involved in the setting of national telecommunications policy. Prior to joining BellSouth, Blau held positions with Bell Communications Research (Bellcore), Satellite Television Corporation, Communications Satellite Corporation (COMSAT), and the Federal Communications Commission.
Blau holds a PhD degree in telecommunications and economics from Indiana University, and is a graduate of DePauw University and the London School of Economics. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a member of the CFA Institute and the Association for Investment Management and Research, and the author of numerous publications.
